Erratum for issue two:
The endpapers mention that Niall Spooner-Harvey’s poems in the issue were first published in his collection, Only Not Walking. This is incorrect; only “grave” was included in that collection.
Erratum for issue one:
Zhuang Yisa’s poem, “Incineration,” was incorrectly formatted. Specifically, the stanza breaks were left out. The poem should have read as follows.
Incineration
A solenoid grows steady, intensifies itself,
breaks apart: a storm
silver through black skies, shedding rain.
The season of molecular implosions
approaches—beyond the waves
slowly forming, wings swoop to break
the mirror calm, a signature of thirst.
I cannot escape into fiction—this
fiction—anymore than I can escape
you: every living thought
burns in acetylene. Everything
that touches you turns
from its own death; it becomes
part of the living, its essence struck off
like a bough.
I do not know you. You refuse
to be imagined otherwise.
Who you are: a voice without a body,
a song lost to sea—
cadence measuring out the full extent
of loneliness,
beckoning us towards shelter.
